Back in October I got to be part of something so special and really cool....
A proposal at the finish line of the 2017 Las Vegas Tough Mudder!
Today they are only three months from their big day, so it seemed like the perfect time to share their proposal story.
In all honesty, I was NOT asked to photograph the proposal - my job was way cooler than that - but I couldn't resist the opportunity to sneak a few shots of this once in a lifetime moment for them.
What was my job? Holding the ring and getting the other players in place, ready when Beth and Eric crossed the finish line. Why? Beth is my beautiful sister and my awesome future brother-in-law asked me too! (Honored is NOT a strong enough word to described how I felt to be included in such a special moment)
Eric enlisted the help of these three for his surprise.
10 miles in and they are on the home stretch... Yes, there they are running in the background!
As they rounded the corner, the girls held the sign while Sam slipped ahead to ever-so-sneakily pass the ring off to Eric at the finish line.
